You are deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions by reserving a room.
These terms and conditions govern the contract between Woodbine Guesthouse (Kilani Limited - registered office 2nd Floor, Hygeia House, 66 College Road, Harrow, HA1 1BE, GB - registered number 5061462) and you, the guest.
Woodbine Guesthouse is strictly a non smoking establishment. Should you choose to ignore this policy, you will be asked to leave and charged in full for your entire stay plus £100 for the cost of cleaning the room. Payment will be taken from the card used to secure the booking.
Availability and Pricing
Availability of rooms at the rates shown may be limited and/or restricted to certain periods. All prices include breakfast. Prices are subject to change without notice, however, your price is guaranteed once you have received confirmation.
Deposit and Payment
To secure your reservation, a credit or debit card details are required at the time of booking.
Final accounts must be settled the night before the departure date. We accept payments by major credit and debit cards, (with exception of Diners) Cheques in advance only.
Cancellation and Refund policy
We need 48 hours’ notice for shorter stay and 7 clear days written notice for longer stay of any cancellation. If shorter or no notice is given we will charge your credit card in full. If however, the room is re-let to another customer we will only charge for any shortfall. Every effort is made to re-let the room in the event of a short notice cancellation.
No allowances can be made for temporary absence, meals not taken or accommodation vacated prior to the expiry period of the reservation.
We recommend that guests take out travel/cancellation insurance.
Whilst every effort is made to fulfil, your requests, unfortunately we cannot guarantee these and failure to do so will not constitute a breach of Contract. In the unlikely event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, you have the right to accept the changed arrangements as notified or cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of monies paid. Guest, who brings in extra persons in the room overnight, will be charged in accordance.
Check in/out times
Checking in times are from 11am - 1pm and then from 5pm - 10pm (11:00 - 13:00 and 17:00 - 22:00). Immediate occupancy of the rooms cannot be guaranteed if arriving before 1pm. We are closed from 1pm - 5pm (13:00 - 17:00). During these hours, there is no one here to accept luggage either. Please arrange your arrival accordingly. (There is a Taxi firm outside Exeter St. David’s Station that stores luggage.)However, exceptions can only be made on rare occasions when unavoidably you intend to arrive out of these hours. Please let us know by phone call, either at the time of booking or no later than 2 weeks prior to your arrival.
Guests are requested to vacate the rooms by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Failure to do so may cost you an additional charge.
Car parking is free and is limited for small cars only. This facility is provided on first come first serve basis and at the car owners’ risk. For further information on parking availability please contact us.
We regret that due to health & safety regulations, we can not accept children less than 12 years old.
We are unable to accommodate any pets.
Complaints and Comments
Any complaint or comment regarding your stay should be made to us at the time of the visit so that it can be resolved on the spot.
To maintain our high standards, rooms are checked following your departure. The cardholder is deemed to be responsible for their actions and those of any of their party. Woodbine Guesthouse reserves the right to replace, with new and charge your credit card or invoice you for any theft of or damage caused to the property during your stay. We will provide you with full breakdown of any such charges which may include loss of business, cleaning and administration fee to recover our costs. Guest who bring in extra persons in the room overnight, will be charged in accordance.
Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend or cancel any of the information should we find such alterations necessary.
Woodbine Guesthouse cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (such as fire, strikes, industrial action, technical problems with transport and bad weather), nor for any cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary, which is caused as a result of such events.
Lost and Found
Woodbine Guesthouse does not take responsibility for any loss of valuables and damages to guest property and any direct, indirect or consequential losses suffered by you, other than personal injury resulting from a negligent act or omission by Woodbine guesthouse. If you have valuable items please discuss this with us on arrival. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Items that are left behind are stored for a limited period. We will inform you about this and if the items are forwarded to you, you are responsible for the postage and packaging costs, which will have to be paid in advance.
Woodbine Guesthouse reserves the right to alter its published rates and Terms & Conditions if necessary and without notice.
