ACCESS STATEMENT

Woodbine is a 3 story Guesthouse situated in a conservation area.
Access to all floors is via stairs only; there is no lift in place.

To travel here please follow the instructions on ‘Find us’ page of our website. Off street car parking is available for small cars. Further parking is available in public car parks nearby. Cars are parked at their owner’s risk. There is no on site secure parking available for any motorcycles or scooters.

Out side – from the pavement there are two approaches to the house, both are a slight slop upwards as follows.
• Via the garden path with metal gate entrance -1 step up to a short section of the path then 2 steps up to a gradually rising slop to the main door.
• From the pavement via off street car parking area – gradual slop to the main door. This can be a little restricted to use when full with cars parked.

At the main entrance to the house there is 1 step up in to the front porch and then 1 step up in to the hallway/reception. We do not have any guest rooms on the ground floor. Only the dining room is on this floor.

To access the bedrooms on the first floor, (18 steps in total) there are 11 steps up to the half landing. Half landing is divided by 1 step up. Further 6 steps lead up to the first floor landing. 1 double room and 1 twin room are on this floor.
From here to the second floor, (17 steps in total) there are 8 steps up to the half landing. Half landing is divided by 1 step up. The private bathroom for the single room is situated here. Further 8 steps lead up to the second floor landing. 1 double room, 1 twin room and 1 single room are on the second floor.
Inside all the double and twin rooms, there are 2 steps to climb to enter the en-suite bathrooms. There are no special facilities in any part of the house, bedrooms or bathrooms.
Standard original Victorian wooden rails and banisters are fitted through out the staircase.

Bookings can be made by phone calls or emails. Please fill in the enquiry form on bookings page of our website. We take phone from 09:00-22:00 hours. Checking in times are strictly from 11:00-13:00 hours and then from 17:00-22:00 hours.
